I would laugh if we ended with Emery (unlikely), as we would of got the manager you wanted, and you would of got the manager we wanted!

That would indeed be ironic.

You guys will be fine. Solid infrastructure and less pressure than coming to us if it is e.g.nDe Boer. Just steer clear of Martinez!

Koeman will be under pressure here as our new shareholder won't be bankrolling him thinking 6th or 7th would be a result.

Lol! Those scenarios you describe would be far from dull! I think I had my heart set on a complete nutter a la Mancini who would come in and shake the place to its core. I'm happy to give him a chance- wouldn't write him off before he gets here.

Appreciate all the rest of your points. I was at the Sunderland game. It was horrible, really, really horrible. As you said Koff Martinez!
Lol? They were his achievements, he did better at Southampton than Potchetino...lets get excited about him.

I have been an Everton fan for 25 years. I have followed this form for years also but have never commented so I apologise.

If Koeman is the man can we not please support him? I know we have money now and we can spend but it is not like we are suddenly the biggest club in the world. If Koeman helps us to get there then surely that's a good thing.

Apologies but I cannot understand the negative people towards him

No need to apologise mate. Welcome.

Worth remembering that most of the negative comments are people on the wind up so don't take it serious. Except goat. He's deadly serious.

But once he's comfirmed our boss he will have every single blues support.

Three years ago, I wasn't happy when RM was appointed. Not one bit.

With today's reports I am experiencing a complete contrast of emotions - this is not a glass case of emotion, but a bed-of-caviar-with-playboy-ladies.... of emotion.

I'd love to see all the haters on here pipe down when he brings Forster (a decent GK and future Eng #1), van Dijk (a decent CB) and Tadic (everything Ross isn't) to Goodison.

Welcome Ronald. You just know Southampton will be your first game, so give us the SP as soon as you get here!

In
latest
we trust.

If we splash big bucks to get Koeman, you get FDB on the cheap and he goes on to outperform us we will look a bit silly won't we.
If we do badly next season we will look like the silly ones! Saints have got a good infrastructure for managers to come in and do well though, so fingers crossed we do well. Spurs fan didn't like Poch in his first season and wanted rid, which obviously looks silly now! You have brought Koeman in not just for immediate results, but to start to rebuild the club, so it may take a bit of time, but he's a good manager, that if given time will do well for you, just like Poch is now doing at Spurs.
