Yes it is.

Oh how bad it would be for us to win the league under Mourinho and then suffer the indignity of going back to being midtable alsorans. I'd much rather remain midtable also-rans forever, as we then might get to see a couple of sixth formers having a cameo due to the fact that half our squad is injured.

I've said it before. Some Evertonians don't want success, you want to maintain the status quo.

Bollocks

Unapologetic, unfounded and unashamed bollocks

Quite harsh on Mikey, hes not saying Martinez is the yooth yoda, but he seems to think somebody will take over the club and build the team around the lads in FF, its a noble mission, sadly unless we wanna play in League One we are gonna have to buy actual football players.

Joachim Lowe is just the man for this

I think we should go for him

Look at how many young players he blooded for Germany

With him developing our young players while also working with our existing team, I truly think the sky would be the limit

I'd take him over Jose every second of the day

Theres other managers who could take us to the next level that arent mouriho. Its not as simple as mourihno or midtable forever. If he comes here great but i dont think hes a great fit. Pellegrini, koeman, etc

So much wrong in one post

Barkley would never have broken through if Moyes hadn't left. Moyes did not rate him, did not like him and was never going to give him his chance. End of

Browning got injured actually. Pretty serious one too, hence why he's not played in so long

Besic played in the Hungarian league. Tony Watt is also an international footballer, as is Shane Duffy who you just called a "yard dog". It was still a gamble to go for him, but Martinez took it and deserves credit for doing so

Dowell is good, that I agree with, though I think Ledson will ultimately be better
I'm still 100% convinced that Coleman wouldn't have had an extended run if Hibbert wasn't injured under Moyes as well Mikey.
Just saying like.

He had a whole country to cherry pick, your expecting somebody to build a team around 20 lads at FF.

Bit different.

Honestly Mikey, we have had this discussion for as long as I can recall and guess what, im still waiting for somebody to break through from the youth set up. How many years now? Ross Barkley since I joined in 2008, so thats 1 player in 8 years.

Wunderbar.

End of the day, people hitting mourinho with the "youth" stick - and clamouring for Martinez because he believes in youth....

Apparently.

I've noticed Roberto always starts to chat up about the youth or any particular youth player like he's about to promote one of them, then it seems like any player he begins to highlight or give praise to is either sent out on loan and/or never spoken of again. That's just what I have observed..
