Which is they're tenth while young players they had previously and let go, de bruyne, felipe, lukaku, are impressing elsewhere.

I mean I'd take that for two or three years of glory but that, presumably, is the risk.

Lukaku is great but he's playing as a lone striker in a side that focus all the play to him.

Dear Bruyne plays for City ffs. That's kind of like saying United let Paul Pogba and Pique go and then they had success.

imagine winning at anfield, and jose skipping down the line beating his chest to the fume of a thousand cringey kopite beauts, just imagine it.

You may as well imagine it, because that weapon roberto had a wonderful chance to beat them helmets when brendon was at the end but at home he played for a nil nil, so it wont be happening next week, but anyone insane enough to not want Jose, just imagine it

I mean United did do that. And i bet Utd fans are kicking themselves about it, too.

And it's not like de bruyne went directly to city. He went elsewhere, did well and was bought by city. If Chelsea had wanted to keep him, they could have done but Jose didn't fancy it.

I still maintain we have little chance of getting Jose, but to be fair I said the same when the Eto'o rumours surfaced.........

Depends if he goes to Man Utd or not I feel. If not we must be a chance.

Thats the issue, think LVG needs to win the FA Cup AND get 4th to keep his job IMO, even then, its not certain, then theres the strong rumours about Joses name not fitting for a few people at United.

Think ive said most of this before, but theres not many clubs that could attract or need Jose, in terms of who might need a manager youve got United and possibly Arsenal, then maybe Swansea? Checking the current top 10 teams, I cant see a job from any of those teams and hes unlikely to join a team in the bottom half and yes I include us.

So IF he really wants to stay in England, we could be the "best" offer he gets, but theres plenty of teams in European football that could attract him.

That's the key isn't it? IF he really wants to stay in England and Utd is a no go.
