De boer looks good. 4 consecutive titles since taking over, loses it last year, top of the league on goal difference with 4 games to go this year. Also he's turned down Liverpool in the past so it's a doubles thumbs up all round. We won't get Mourinho so I think he'll do for me. If Bergkamp and Stam can get the odd game we'd be laughing.

Talking to my kopite collegue today - "you could do much worse than Benitez" - couldn't really complain, only negative is his association with Liverpool - but hey.
when was his last actual success, the job at valencia was top class, since then has he left any teams in a significantly better state than when he arrived, I think his style is somewhat passed it's sell by date, and I doubt the discipline of someone so fat while working at a football club

I'm still reeling from getting slaughtered for suggesting Pearson, I really am. He led Leicester to the Championship title and despite them being one of the favourites for the drop, comfortably kept them in the prem after an amazing run of results. The current Leicester team mainly consists of his signings too! Ranieri has kept the core of the team that Pearson assembled and has finely-tuned the team-spirit that Pearson instilled. I would certainly rate his first season in the top-tier as being better than Howe's. Karanka hasn't even secured automatic promotion but still makes the poll. Would love to hear some genuine criticisms against appointing him, rather than being accused of being a kopite, and no, it's not time for walkies.
