To be fair Pochettino's English wasn't great when he was at Southampton but it's improved massively.
He's a no mark from a no mark league.
It'd be a joke if he came in. In any case I've had assurances it won't be, so that's ok.
Dances like Psy whilst putting bins out...hey sexy lady op op op oppa Gangnam style! It's time to believe mate, and I'm not just saying that from blind optimism. We are, for the first time in decades, in a position to compete for the best talent, and our history shows when we can do that, we are successful.
It's a great time to be a blue, again.

Seriously though Esk cheers for the info...much appreciated!
You're singlehandedly keeping most of this forum sane
Picture that with a Wheelie bin full of grass cuttings & that my friend is what my neighbours get to experience for free!!!
That doesn't rule out managers who have experience winning minor European leagues (outside England, Germany, Italy, Spain). That would be a major concern for me. They need major league title wins and/or European trophy success. If not, what is the point of change?
You might be right, although I don't know why Pochettino would speak with his players in English and then not in interviews. Can't say I know enough about Emery to comment on his English.Pochettino didn't do interviews in English, but his English may have been OK. I do not see how Emery will communicate well with the majority of the British squad if he cannot express himself to players. His English is a massive concern.
AVB or Benitez are better in my opinion than Pellegrini (poor defence)or Koeman(average track record)

Lighten up Dave. The Esk is telling us that ambition has returned to the boardroom of Everton and you're worried that we might only end up with a multiple trophy winner not from one of Europe's top leagues. In the world of managers there's not just Mourinho then Martinez with nothing in between. There are some hugely talented managers who will jump at the chance for a premier league project backed with real ambition. It's not a shortlist of Jose Pep or may as well stick with Roberto.
Cast your mind back to the supposed interview process to succeed Moyes. Neville Unsworth Stubbs all apparently interviewed by Kenwright before we plumped for a manager who had won one meaningful trophy in his career and had relegated a side. If the stories surrounding that recruitment process are accurate that's a criminal lack of ambition when the likes of Southampton were picking up Pochettino then Koeman, West Ham with Bilic, and now Newcastle with Benitez.
We're now in a completely different ball park. Put the worry away. Let the good times roll.
