If, Roberto Martinez is not going to be at the club next season, then it should be announced before Norwich and allow him to get a warm farewell.

It would be a celebration mate

Mourinho would boss it for two seasons then fall apart in the third. I'm well up for two seasons of smashing everyone.
I think you are right and it would not be good news for our academy players or the academy in general.
It would however raise the profile of the club enormously. It would bring a huge amount of media attention to the club and if were to leave after the usual three years, he would leave behind a club with a much higher profile worldwide and hopefully some silverwarwe
Even though our academy is performing wonderfully well, how many of the youngsters will realistically go on to play for top clubs , very few, if any.
I think most of the current under 18/21 will make a good living out of the game, but if two or three were to make the grade as good premiership players it would be an outstanding result.

I dont know about that you know?

Mourinho isn't an idiot even though he was acting like one at the start of the season. At the likes of Chelsea and Madrid you dont have to worry so much about academy players. I do think he is intelligent enough to cut his cloth accordingly. There would also be a bit less pressure with us then there would be at Chelsea and Madrid. Every game for them is must win which means he would be taking a risk putting a youth player into the team. He could get a lot more leeway to do that here. he brought through some good players at Porto so he can do it if need be.

Regarding this Mourinho thing and would he come to us. Well who knows? I must admit i dont like him. I thought the stuff he did with his medical staff at the start of this season was horrible. That said getting him as our manager would be a massive statement of intent. If the club are looking of getting rid of Martinez (and I am not convinced they are...) you would hope that the club would at least ask the question of him. They would not be doing their jobs correctly otherwise.

when ive mentioned mourinho and everton to any non-everton supporter they have laughed their heads off, make it happen!
Same. De Boer is the absolute limit of our ambition and even then they ask "Why would he leave a champions league club for ye lol". That's where we are in their eyes. Even Pellegrini is a no chance whereas I think if we really want him we'll get him. Lets raise some eyebrows this summer Evertonpls.

They will crush Liverpool in the final as well, no worries on that one. Sevilla are a cracking team.

They're about 7th in the Spanish league mate. Miles behind Villarreal who threw the towel in against them. I wouldn't be so confident about anyone "crushing" them at the moment. I would however, love Emery as our next manager

at least 'magic anfield' wont come into play

Really do think people are kidding themselves with Mourinho talk.

Well if United stick with LVG and PSG keep Blanc where else is he going?

Normally I would agree but there is a possibility that usually wouldn't be there.

He seems to like us, we have a lot of potential, he obviously wanted to work with Stones, have a bit of money to spend, he will get total control of transfers and most importantly his reputation has took a knock this past year so he will be hungry to prove himself.

With all that in mind...why the hell not?
