It does give him credit i guess by mentioning the fantasy football game guy as he uses probably the same sort of stuff to win money instead haha!!

I'm suprised that anyone even picked the Chargers. The Ravens were just terrible last week and despite that almost pulled it out. Rivers record in the playoffs in Marvin Lewis-y. He holds onto the ball forever and may just be a slightly upgraded version of Kirk Cousins. Also yes losing to the Pats in the playoffs is defensiveable but remember he also lost to Mark Sanchez in the playoffs as well.
I thought the Patriots would win, but the Chargers have been absolutely dreadful. Almost as bad as the Ravens were last week.
We are comparing apples and oranges. I am not trying to take anything away from SAF's accomplishments, rather, I am begrudgingly recognizing that what Belichick has done in New England is arguably as big of an accomplishment.
The NFL is all about rebuilding. While Brady has remained a constant, how many different incarnations of the Patriots have there been? @Connor would better be able to answer that, but I suspect every position on the field except Brady is on their third or fourth different guy.
The salary cap and the draft in the NFL is designed for league wide parity. The Premier League simply is not. There are only a few teams that have managed to stay good over a long period of time. Those teams are the rare exception, with the Patriots being the longest running and best example. What they've done is truly remarkable.

They came back out of the woodwork this week. It was embarrassing watching the news listening to grown men who last year burned their shirts to then say all is forgiven and they would support them. Sure that easy when they are in the playoffs hahaha!!
It's their fair weather fan base and the city of San Diego opening the vote for the stadium downtown to people living downtown only
the chargers knew this that's why they pushed for the stadium downtown. they never wanted to stay as well the fans don't turn up when they are losing.
They for some reason think they will have a larger fan base in LA

In any case, comments like this make me smile that much more. Garbage team for most of my life, now hated by pretty much everyone for winning in a league designed to penalize successful teams.
First couple SB I enjoyed as a fan happy to see the forlorn and moribund team finally winning. Now there is a heaping helping of schadenfreude on top of it.

Don't know why people thought this. They were a #2 seed, and healthy, they were never in decline. They do have a glaring weakness, they are slow but that matters less in colder weather (in the SB on a fast track it might tho).
Just needed a bye to get healthy.
