Dude can't even walk and has a broken rib + the team got gutted in free agency thanks to the previous GM overspending on garbage. I'm no fan of his but this isn't on him. The coach should have sat him down for a few weeks at the beginning of the season.
Yeah...there's defo some of what you're saying. I just think he's massively, massively overrated.

I don't really think anyone overrates him. He's somewhere in the 2nd tier of QBs about the 10-15th best in the league. You surround him with decent talent and you have a good side.

Also, brightly colored pants aren't really acceptable, but tights can be in any color and nobody bats an eye.
Because up until relatively recently, all players wore thigh and knee pads. These were held in place by a combination of small mesh pockets inside the garment, and the garment being tight enough to press the pad against the leg. The rule making these thigh and knee pads mandatory has I think been relaxed.
The first time I got hit with a cut block (used to play as a defensive end at university), I was very, very glad of my knee pads.
