The Seahawks retired the number 12 in 1984. The bandwagon narrative doesn't fly with a fan base who has created a very hostile environment for well over 3 decades.

117 consecutive sellouts would also debunk this myth.

Sure we've picked up some along the way, but every good team does.
No offense to you real Seahawks fans but I want to punch the ones that refer to themselves as "the 12s." Example: "I've been a 12 for two years now."

I think Seattle sports fans are really good to be honest. Went to a couple of Mariners games in mid/late 90s at the Kingdome and the atmosphere for regular season baseball games was tremendous. It's a steaming pile of BS that the Sonics were taken from them. Seattle's a great city for basketball.

Agreed. I do not like anyone's bandwagon fans but I do have tremendous respect for anyone sticking with their teams through hard times. I am with you on the Sonics, they were completely set up to move regardless of the way Seattle voted. Feel that way about the Browns move too but at least they got their team back.

Given the different eras (free agency and league-wide parity), I think Brady has already eclipsed what Montana achieved. Those Niners teams were loaded (Roger Craig, Clark, Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, etc.). Compare that to the receivers that Brady has had.
Can anyone explain to me how Peyton Manning is thought of as an all time QB great in the same breath as Montana/Brady given he's won the one SB? I know it cant just come down to SB rings, but....

People like lists of 5, but Brady and Montana are clearly at another level. Peyton was great, but he's somewhere in the Favre, Marino, Elway mix.

He's been great in the regular season and he's a media darling. Also, he was really poor in that Super Bowl that he won. Granted it was in a deluge, but still!
