Fifth fastest to 500 pts (them plus Bossy)
Sixth fastest to 600 pts (them plus Jari Kurri)

But then yeah he was ended by injuries - even the massive hits that laid him out were on top of consistent injury issues from playing the way he did. So very much a question of what might have been.

Oh definitely.

I saw him play against the Isles several times and, at times, it felt like he was going to be the next Lemieux. Not sure how accurate, but there were some rumors that made the rounds back in the day regarding Lindros’ lifestyle which may have made him more susceptible to injury.
His brother Brett was nowhere in EL’s class, but still a decent player

With regards to the position he played, this guy is without a doubt the greatest in my opinion.

Can see better now, I was on my phone at work earlier so the bird cage on Hasek's head stood out better...looks like Brett Hull doing the Superman impression.

I'll do one more. One of the sports true nice guys in my opinion, and he finally found what he was looking for in the end. Sometimes the story does have a happy ending.
