NHL

It’s not a popular opinion but Phoenix should have lost that team awhile ago. The Coyotes were bottom 3 in average attendance for 15 straight years. That’s not a fan base sitting out a rebuild or protesting a bad owner, that’s not having a fan base.

Anyway I have no idea who wins the Stanley Cup. It’s certainly not going to be the Lightning, and I wouldn’t mind it being the Stars but I just can’t see it.

Bolts Panthers will be a good matchup. Most of the first round matchups will be good. Not loving Knights Stars first round but you have to beat them all at some point.

It'll always, apart from the Suns, be tough for an expansion team to make it here, even with our population...too many f'in transplants with prior allegiances. Cardinals suffer from the same issue.

I'm not sure Salt Lake will work either. To be perfectly honest I don't think there are any good US markets left for hockey. I don't buy Houston, the demographics aren't there like they weren't there in Atlanta. Then you're looking at cities that support minor/junior hockey fairly well and that's like Cleveland, Milwaukee, and Portland. None of those sound too likely.

Milwaukee always sounds logical but they’re pretty loyal to the blackhawks in that city so will likely never happen.

I think Salt Lake will do well as a supporting city. They would’ve done their homework.

I think the Habs are developing a good team. We might challenge for the playoffs next year hopefully.

As for this years playoffs well just like last year i'll be cheering for the Winnipeg Jets.

It would be nice to see the cup go back to Canada again!🇨🇦
