No we live in a Christian country, all be it a tolerant one. The decline of churches I don't neasessarily have issue with but when coupled with the rise if mosques I find it a problem.

It's the principle of halal meat and the fact that people who don't want to eat it don't get given a choice. Sometimes it's not even labelled. But as long the Muslims are happy who's arsed? And the ethics of it arnt as clean cut as you say, as the animal is left to bleed out and not stunned. But anyway, the fact that a minority religious requirement is now part of all of our lives is wrong in anyone's world. Halal and sharia have no place in the 21st century.

There are already more than enough Mosques to facilitate the Muslim population. Oh and the Saudi funded Islamic learning centres, and the Islamic schools, and the Islamic courts.

And with regards to the calls to prayers, it's just wrong do you not think? Why should non muslims have to put up with that. BUT WUT ABOUT CHURCH BELZ LAD? This is England, deal with it.

A tolerant society where a minority religion shouldn't be allowed to impose itself upon non members of that religion, in lots of cases driving them out of their homes. It's fine though, because I doubt you live in an area where this happens so you can have your high horse opinions all you like. If someone built a Mosque at the end of your street, and you started hearing Islamic calls to prayers on loud speakers 5 times a day I bet your opinion would change drastically.

Im not suggesting this is particularly common and we are all suffering with incessant Islamic prayer noise but it does happen. Again, its part of a bigger picture.

Immigration is a good thing on a tiny overpopulated island if you have filters in place to only let the best trained people, who have the ability to support themselves into the country where their skills are desired.

A problem our country has with the immigration is the burden on our infrastructure, education, health, transport etc me I would say to Brussels we are keeping back 10 bill of our subs to upgrade the infrastructure to cope with the immigration your rules have unleashed.

As for the debate I was angry with Clegg for some downrifht untruths he was coming out with, his waffling and his avoidance of answering questions.

Population density for the UK is 255 people per sq km. That compares with over 400 in the Netherlands, whilst Japan has 337.

What a stupid post, the areas of small population are up in the mountains and moorlands nowhere near the areas where the jobs are. Thought you had more brain power than that Bruce.

Why? Hand car washes are a pretty recent phenomenon over here precisely due to Eastern European immigration. They've made good use of loads of old petrol station sites killed off by the supermarkets. I really like them, they do a much better job than them crappy automated ones and they're usually pretty reasonably priced, too.

Jobs can be anywhere with an Internet connection. It might surprise you to know that us mods don't all go about our work from Danny's front room.
