Cant say I'm happy about £6M (two transfer windows used up on one player) for an SPL player (and I refuse to believe there wasn't better value out there if Moyes had half a decent scouting network rather than falling back on his dad and brother and youtube) but if he's here I suppose we have to give him a chance.

I dunno why we're all being so dreadfully negative. The guy can obviously shoot (what power!), reacts quickly and knows where the net is. It seems like he might have the kind of work ethic we need right now, a slugger tye forward not afraid to put his face in the way.
Obviously, the best forward we could ever get in terms of forcing him to play alone would have to be the complete package, like Ibrahimovic. Consider this kid a light version.
