Marine 5-1 Winners over FC United. Fantastic start to the season. Whitby on Saturday at home before Villa on the Sunday, it’s going to be a good weekend I hope.

Meanwhile Southport just lost 4-1 away at Spennymoor… their 11th defeat in their last 11 league games. Time for a change I think!

Poor game at Prescot Cables , 0-1 defeat to newly promoted Avro. 100 mph stuff for the first 15 minutes and very few clear cut chances for either side after that, away to West Didsbury & Chorlton ( ground #179) in the FA Cup on Saturday then the coach at 09.45 to Villa park on Sunday. I’d like to agree with comrade @barneygumble re the weekend but………….

Colwyn Bay played their first welsh premier league match on Saturday since rejoining the Welsh football pyramid, they got tonked 4-0 at home to Caernarfon Town in front of a crowd of 1700.

Got a season ticket at Marine, I think it’s excellent value, £160 a season.

I think we’ve got an excellent chance this year, think we can push Macclesfield the entire way.

Playoffs is a real possibility, then who knows about pushing for the title. Backed us at 66/1 which was crazy money too.

They have been "back" as a club for a couple of seasons now, playing in North West Counties, they have just finally merged with the other breakaway group and moved back to the ground.

They was using Radcliffe Boroughs ground for home games.

This was the game that was postponed in the immediate aftermath of Alex Fletcher’s serious head injury. (He was still in intensive care at the time - now happily on the road to recovery at home) shoe horned in to avoid end of season fixture congestion. Good turn out from Worthing fans.

Brilliant day yesterday. Alex Fletcher came off the bench in the 85th minute for Bath City to the biggest cheer of the day.
A 3-1 win for City with 3 spectacular goals. A very good start for the Romans in NLS but Alex Fletcher and his family’s day.
