Poor game for Beckenham town yesterday. Lost 2 -1 to three bridges. Decent crowd of 325.

Not a classic at Bootle today, their goalie was sent off after about 15 minutes but Cables couldn’t capitalise and fair play to Bootle they held their shape well and had a few chances. 0-0.

Saw Bath City beat Hampton & Richmond pretty comfortably a couple of weeks ago and off to Barnet (new ground) v Altrincham in the NL tomorrow. Didn’t realise but Barnet are top of the league. Looking forward to it.

Won replay didn't they, great set up there my friend in work has season ticket for toffees and marine says they are on the way up set up looking good... might pay a visit getting 1200 plus for games now, spurs game done them a world of good.

Good win for Barnet against a poor Altrincham. Their centre back showed a bit of fight by punching one of his own players in an argument about the second of the three goals. Stay top of the league.
The ground is a theee sided affair but didn’t lack atmosphere. Good football fix in the absence of Palace.

Barnet's first home match, excluding the fact they lost 5-0, didn't exactly go according to plan. lol

Excellent read, and the reality of day to day survival in the tiers of football in the UK.

It's a decent ground. Tube trains rattling past.
