Non League Football

My non league team Halesowen Town sitting 3rd in the Central league of the Non league Prem division. Big match next Tuesday away at Rivals Stourbridge Town known as The Number 9 match due to the bus that runs between the two teams. More trouble and rivalry at this tie than a Wolves v Baggies or Villa Blues 😆, even a friendly last season got abandoned

Won replay didn't they, great set up there my friend in work has season ticket for toffees and marine says they are on the way up set up looking good... might pay a visit getting 1200 plus for games now, spurs game done them a world of good.

Won 2-0 on Saturday away at Stafford, quite a few blues come on the coaches to the aways now.

Believe expecting 70 for a cosch to Spennymoor on Saturday, in the FA Cup.

Just proper old school football. Drink in the stands, don’t get ripped off, it’s just brilliant.

4-0 win for Prescot Cables v Bridlington Town in the FA Trophy , good day out with a couple of (kopite , god forgive me) mates. We decided we’re going to Hamburg for the Euros next year, we’ll all apply for the group stage tickets and see what happens.

Will see you there.

Doing a week for the opening two rounds, booked flights for QF, Semi and Final.

You’ll get a good chance of tickets in resale if you don’t get them this time round.

A 1-5 home thrashing for Beckenham town against Three bridges in the FA trophy. The visitors looked a very slick outfit. Beckenham not recovered from losing several key players in the summer. It could be a long season for them and Welling United my other non league team.

Saw my local team Bath City won 1-0 at Welling but by all accounts Welling deserved more.

Marine beat Radcliffe yesterday in front of 1,222 people.

Radcliffe previously had an immaculate record, having won their previous 8 games.

Not sure what I expect, when Prem referees are as useless as they are, but the referee had a shocker.

Ex-Everton Youth player Mateusz Hewelt had a howler for the third. With ex-Everton academy player Manasse Mampala playing 65 mins for Marine.

Shame Everton clash, as I was told 150 fans will travel up to Hyde on Saturday for the FA 3rd Qualifying round.

Seems like a very sad day for Scunthorpe a United, as their Owner Dave “Hilton” (also goes by 3 other surnames), has announced his intentions to withdraw all funding from club.

Hilton, who has done time for fraud and has destroyed various other clubs, was seen mocking the club on Facebook earlier this week, with a quote saying he’ll “Laugh when the club dies”. The club will now play about 30 miles away in Gainsborough.

What a shame for Scunthorpe. It wasn’t that long away we beat them 5-1 away in the cup.

Sounds like an absolute scumbag, seems to happen frequently at that level, given what happened to both Bury and Macclesfield as well as the ongoing issues at Southend, it’s why I find it so infuriating that United and RS ‘customers’ have a go at their ownerships who pile millions in, especially on transfers, when fans at these lower clubs are facing not having a team at all or at worse having to reboot it way down the football pyramid
