Ultimate banter from the Purps today btw. They were 3-0 down at half time to Atherton, pulled it back to 3-3 with an 84th minute equaliser, then conceded straight from the kick off and lost 4-3

Went to watch Llay Miners yesterday against Colwyn Bay. Welsh 2nd division, one below the Premier League
Enjoyably crap little game. For a team are rooted to the bottom, llay put up a solid effort against a title chasing side.

I went to a Marine game to watch my mate ref it last season and got a fair few comments about my Everton hat, so that’s my story
My girlfriend is a photographer and with Everton disdain setting in for us both, we’re tryna do more random games when we’re not at the match

Got to warn you that the Widnes home match day experience is the worst in all of non league. Play at the rugby stadium and FA rules state you’re not allowed to drink in your seat at all seater stadiums. Crammed into one corner of the ground, it’s pretty horrible. Currently at planning permission stage of building our own ground though, so hopefully this will be the last full season at the rugby stadium.

It's growing, the ground is getting better and the crowd are all nice enough. I think they get about 200 a game.
