Hello everyone was just reading thought i would sign up and add something to the conversation.

A few weeks ago i was on Edge Lane Old Swan and pulled up next to Rooney in the lights i gave him a beep and started speaking to him i asked would he ever return to Everton his reply was "It might be sooner than you think mate". So im kinda thinking we may do some sort of swap for Fellaini maybe he's willing to take a drop in wages for playing for the club he loves we will just have to wait and see.

was he in a vauxhall corsa?

If you guys don't want to believe me then don't i am not gonna lose any sleep i don't really come on forums much so this will be my last post in my opinion i hope he comes back.

Don't be silly mate. Stick around. It's fun here.

I don't see why you'd make this up, so have no reason to not believe you.

He probably won't come back that soon though.

Just seen sky sports news' combination of what all of the papers reckon.

Most papers are saying fees of between 20-25 in the next window.

If he really does want to come back and take a pay cut after earning ludicrous money at Man U and Fellaini really does want to leave to get champions league football and he really has been telling lads at traffic lights he's coming back...

It's on?

True. in fairness We can't spend that money on anyone because we haven't got it even if we sold Baines and Felliani I doubt we could fund spending that on a player.

Serious question does anybody really think there is even a remote chance of this happening , if so I'd can they explain to me how it'd work because it seems such a fanciful pie in the sky type discussion to me.

Baines and Fellaini combined would probably get that but swapping two top players for one wouldn't really help us.

And the wages would still be an issue.

That's sort of what I'm saying mate , if we sold out best two players (neither of whom play upfront , well ish ) we still couldn't afford him and we'd need replacements .

Rooney and Fellaini play in the same position.

You'd promote Oviedo to the first team, presumably.

Purely in terms of transfer fees we'd be able to do it probably, but we couldn't afford his wages, or be able to compete with psg if they decide to go mad and we'd be worse off as a team.

I know what you guys are saying and it's true we are, as always, in a bad way financially but what about the massive extra tv money this year?

I don't think it's that much of a reach to effectively swap Fella and Rooney over the summer, that is of course if Wayne is happy to take a massive pay cut and just be filthy rich instead of ludicrously rich.
