It was so nice Frankie...no pop ups, trojans, adware (ADS IN GENERAL!!! FFS!!!), endless windups and attention seeking whoppers. Just people high on being able to converse with strangers across the planet about anything and everything. It makes it sound like it was ages ago, but it wasn't...that's just how fast it turned in to turd. Shame, really. It's still the same at it's core but now you have to wade through 10 lbs of feces to get to the 3oz. of steak.

But also remember waiting half an hour to download a single nudey pic. And if someone was on the phone then no web! And a bloody lead to the modem.

Now I'm wanking around the clock with dehydration my only obstacle.

You had to go underground to get free pron back in the day, now it's freely available...if that was my complaint, I'd have no basis for an argument.

Do agree but it's clear to me Rooney hasn't been happy at utd for years. You can tell he doesn't buy into the whole "utd massive club, should be greatfull to be here and never wanna leave" line.

As someone said somewhere he's around 50 goals short off being all time top scorer yet he's not thought of as any sort of legend/future legend and certainly isn't adored by the fans.

It's really hard to judge what's going on in his head, I'm sure he does want to come back here and score goals that would mean alot more to him (derby) just I can't see looking realistically that time is now unfortunately due to many financing reasons for Rooney and us.

Shame would make a massive difference having him now. The world class player/No.10 we need. Would love a Everton side with Rooney fellaini and Baines all in it....why do we have to be such paupers!!

Has THT or LCAB heard anything or mentioned anything regarding this?
 
I've got £20 on us to be rooney's next club, at 33-1.

Can't see him joining us this summer, but IF he doesn't leave Utd in this coming window, reckon it suddenly becomes a REALLY good bet.

Nah, it'd still be a bloody awful bet mate, as when he leaves OT this summer, it certainly won't be to return here.

I've £10 at 125/1. He would need to stay for a while yet for it to become a possibility.
 

Anyone know how benificial signing him could be for us??
Forget the quality of the lad on the pitch for a moment...

But I mean in terms of...
Global branding for the club
Sponsorship opportunity for us and him
Nike
Extra following of Rooney fans
Ect ect

Would it be benificial in terms of making us decent money and such...to counter the big fee??
