he's known, he's tosh, basically this koemans niasse, get him out of my club
Koeman and Moshiri are making Bill and Moyes look like the glory days. They're dragging this club through the mud and there's no end in sight. I hope our 'fans' are happy when we're getting knocked out of the Johnstone's Paint trophy by Millwall in 3 years.

Why? Put it this way - if you got a job as a manager with a company, would you go straight in with the size 10s and fire a load of employees and replace them? Or would you want to know what they're capable of first? Would you want to know whether or not your "high flyers" are dead set on leaving or if you could convince them to stay on? Makes sense to me.
I was hoping to see at least ten of them be unceremoniously launched by now.

that would be happening without moshiri tho. the tv money has put every club up a notch or 2 on transfer targets. look at palace.

so far we have re signed gibson, bought a fulham reserve keeper and been 'linked' with a dozen targets, who have also been linked with a dozen other clubs.

we need to get players in and fast.

dithering in the market , one of our worst traits , definately has NOT changed.

At the end of the day, the time to fume or not to fume, is when the transfer window closes.
It would've been nice to have players in at the start of pre season but it's not happened yet. However, surely Mr Moshiri gets the benefit of the doubt at this stage. Patience is needed and less fume mongering I say.
I agree.

If Sep 1st arrives and we haven't added real quality to the the squad then there's going to be lots of angry fans.

It won't come to that though. The owners aren't stupid.

Let's face it we have a new owner who's minted , but until we see the colour of his money and brought top quality ( not rashist) (can't spell) I'm with sappie88 everyone getting a little carried away with things. Look at the prices of serten players your need £220 million to re build a team or that would by you say five players . Untill there on the pitch holding the scarf saying why ev or everton or how ever u want to call us these days we will be linked with ever player available.

Anything?

25 July it's gathering pace.

As an Evertonian I will hate to sing...whisper words of wisdom let it be to you in this thread come 31 August.

Still hoping the Mosh to spend huge. One thing is worrying is that like you said mate we may want the best players but they might not want to come due to our recent performance/position in the league.

No. I'm not talking about a David Bowie best of compilation, I'm talking about Everton.

So we entered the pre season shrouded in mystery, who will be our new manager, will we spend loads, will we get a new stadium, will Cleverley leave, so many questions.

So far we've had one question answered, we got a new manager and to be fair it is a thoroughly underwhelming appointment for a club that supposedly has renewed ambitions. This is a man who thrives in ordinariness, a so-so man from a so-so nation, Mr. Average, Mr. Grey, if he was a colour he'd be magnolia, he's neither here nor there, he won't set the world alight, nor will he do any worse. If we wanted to send a message to the footballing world that we are back we needed to do better than Ronald "Flavour of the month" Koeman.

Instead we have done what we do best, go with what we can get, not push for what we supposedly can't get. A bad start for things to come.

So on to our transfers, so far we have made one, an undisclosed fee for a keeper who is that bad Fulham who have just finished above relegation in the League 1 find him surplus to requirements. Great.

We've been linked with two other signings, Witsel and Mata, so going off everything that has preceded this what is the honest likelihood we will sign them? We have no European football to lure them, we have a bog standard manager, maybe they want to join Gianluigi Stekelenbuffon? Ridiculous.

Apparently we have had negotiations with Witsel but true to form they've stalled. Everton that.

So on to the actual elephant in the room. Are we rich? So far I'm going with no, all we've done is catch the likes of Stoke, West Ham and Palace up in terms of money we can offer players.

Same old Everton? Yep.
I laughed when i read this the first time.

Kinda starting to come more true each week that passes......
