Certainly know you'll get goals with Giroud so its a yes from me, can live with a lack of pace as its clear what he would be brought in to do.
Great job by Koeman if he is looking for an answer this week, we need someone in there by the Stoke game but still expect it will go to the last few days.
I think he would be a good addition, but he should be glad to join us, I don't think its fantasy or unbelievable that we attract a 30+ player not getting regular games at Arsenal.
He can either buy into what we are trying to do here, or do one, hopefully Koeman is selling us to players in this light rather than with the inferiority complex we have grown used to for a generation.
Would be a good, solid signing, but not a sensation, or all that surprising for a guy needing game time in WC year.

We also need someone who is good on the ball, good in the air, can hold the ball up to bring other players into the game. Also, not to shabby are his stats of 69 goals in 164 prem league games.

It's a real tough one this. You can buy the proven finished article in giroud, who let's face it is a class player and will hit the ground running. Alternatively for a similar amount of money, we take a punt on dembele, who is nowhere near the finished article, who is strong, powerful decent scoring record (albeit in a poor league) but has the potential to be a top striker.
Tell you what, I never realised Dembele was 6ft.

He'd hold the ball and bring others into the game better. He's not as good as lukaku but he's still very handy and suits our gameplan.
You get the feeling the dude doesn't want to be here anyhow...move along, Everton.
Agree we still need some pace in the team, hopefully Koeman sorts that out because if he doesn't it could well become a tad labouring watching us this season.
