They sold a 10% of their TV rights for 25 years to a hedge fund in exchange for a bunch of money now. The socios approved up to 25%, but they only had to sell 10% to raise what they wanted. They got really lucky on the timing - odds are the hedge fund sees things like TV rights as the best inflation hedge available.

EDIT: Looks like Eriksen signed on the line which is dotted for United as well.

Sterling still fit that system and bags 20 a season. Jesus was still effective. Bernardo did a whole midfield job if needed.

I guess they'll be getting some more in. But I've gone from thinking they'd romp the league again to maybe not....

Got basically got Grealish, Foden, Harlaand as your attack now.
