Honestly mate, the way we are trying to ship out McGeady, Gibson and Naismith and looking like we are almost trying to get Mirallas to kick off and ask for a move makes it look very like we are trying to free up wages for an incoming big money player plus new contracts to the likes of Stones, Barkley and Lukaku

I think fitness is the key why more teams weren't reportedly interested.

But he passed their medical and I'm sure we could have sold on for more than £4m.

Ah well. Hope he's crap and his leg falls off in his first match for them.

Reading between the lines of the statement QPR put out after the transfer,he might have kicked off to be let go now. personally I'd have waited and gone in summer windows,signing on fee,big wages etc.

Unless Saints have given him a huge wage and fee AKA spending the Mane and Wanyama money ahead of the summer window.

We've gone 5 games without scoring. No forward has scored a goal from open play all season. When his brain is in gear he can make a real impact. Contract to the end of the season incentivised for number of goals he gets and how many points we get / where we finish? In the absence of anything else......?
