Marseille are appointing Michel Gonzalez formerly manager of Olympiakos as their new manager.

Hopefully, they'll stop haemorrhaging players now.

Can't see Perez selling his favourite pet so Benzema is a no no. Would be nice though.

Khedira was asking for too much in wages so with his injury record Arsenal, Chelsea,Man Utd all said no. Seeing as he's injured yet again, wise move. The player we should have bought was Carvalho or Krychowiak.

That lad looks the real deal.

West Bromwich Albion have told Tottenham Hotspur that they want £25m for the England Under-21 international Saido Berahino having rejected an £18m bid from Spurs today.

The West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace took the unusual step of issuing a statement to announce that the bid had been rejected, although with the caveat that the club were open to a better offer. Spurs claim that they have offered to pay £18m for the 22-year-old whom they looked closely at signing in January but were eventually put off by West Brom’s valuation.

A cryptic look into Baba Rahman's future, Chelsea?

The Ghanaian arrived at Chelsea on Tuesday following his £21 million move to the club from Augsburg and was shown around the training ground.

Rahman, a left-back by trade, is expected to provide cover for Cesar Azpilicuetaafter the departure of Filipe Luis. But no mistake about it, it's the Spaniard's spot.

So with the expensive signing expected to spend most of the time on the Blues bench, Chelsea unveiled him...behind a bench.

You can't make this kind of thing up.

These over inflated prices for big players is astonishing, imagine how much good £85 million would do for something like the NHS?
you do realise the only reason Clubs can afford to do this is based on their income and share price/billionaire owner?
If nobody went to games/bought SKY subscriptions to watch them/or bought things branded items advertised by Footballers there wouldn't be there transfers
You also seem to forget that these footballers SHOULD be paying some sort of tax on their earnings (and the clubs on the fees) so they are probably contributing more to the NHS than most other industries.

Still think Berahino will be a Y...a Spur by the end of the window. If we can get a half decent DM as well I will quite happy with our window.
