How many deadline day deals will there be like this one, where the teams wanting a player just go "oh to hell with it,let's just play the release clause"

Still hope we can try and get Krychowiak. It looks like we are not buying any more goals so let's get someone to stop us conceding any .

It's the wrong signing if it's the only striker they sign, but they clearly have dosh to burn.
