He strikes me as a good short term fix kind of a manager but not much good for a long term project. I mean nobody would ever give him a seven or eight year contract.............

I am more worried about relegation this season than I have been since we came up. We certainly need;
A decent keeper
To hang on to Dann and some cover at CB
Cover for Cabaye
A decent goal scorer who can stay fit
Not that keen on Pardew tbh. It's not that I think he's a blert, I just think he is very limited.

I don't think he is a top keeper and is prone to the odd howler. He is mediocre by Premier League standards.
I don't think he was at fault for either of England goals yesterday.

I will. He is one of the most competitive defenders I have seen and will make them harder to beat.I know he is 37 but he will be ok up there for a couple of seasons. ( He is no Virgil Van Djyk though...)
