The fact is, they've spent nearly £30m on two players this summer, without selling anyone for significant money. That's investing into the team.
That they're able to do this and outspend us when just 4 YEARS AGO they were in ADMINISTRATION and in LEAGUE ONE is even more galling, and asks even more serious questions as to why they can spend like this and have this investment whilst we can't. Why Bill Kenwright's 'keep the ship steady' approach equates to 'do/spend/invest nothing without sales first', which eventually is an approach that will catch up with us and lead to the club being overtaken and falling down the table.
We shouldn't have to keep relying on miraculous work by a manager to keep bailing us out. A manager needs the tools to work with.
