where are they asking them mate?
I wish we still had Naismith for a couple reasons. Wasn't the most talented, but you can bet he wouldn't have given up on a game or the season for that matter.Naismith out, Niasse in - wish we still had Naismith.....
=....Niasse is here as our insurance for the £13 million, which is really earmarked for Yarmelenko in the summer. As soon as the windows open, we will send Niasse back, and Yarmelenko will come here in his place. Its a Martinez plan, roughly based on all those movies about hostages ...Niasse is our hostage for Yarmelenko. If we don't get Yarmelenko, we sell Niasse to Tranmere on the drip.......He will be sold back to Russia in the summer half priced
I agree but that really pisses me off because you just KNOW he's going to be on the bench for every game. Only team in the Premier League with 6 on the subs bench.Honestly don't believe we'll see him play in blue again.
Long term contract is about the only thing they got correctWhatever happens from here on, the transfer was a bad misjudgement. Martinez should have been spending money on players who could make an immediate impact and help us push on for Europe.
Don't be in too much of a rush though to write the guy off as a donkey. Have another read of this article from 3 months ago, just before Niasse signed for the Blues - http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features...galese-striker-wanted-england#:ziHXIgh08Q5FuA . It recognises he's not the finished article, but he's got a lot of good qualities - he's hardworking, he's a handful for defenders, he's versatile, and he gets plenty of assists as well as goals. He's on a long term contract, and don't be surprised if we get to see quite a bit of him next season.
