the old adage of do well in the reserves and get a place in the first team squad. If he keeps scoring, he might deserve a place on the bench otherwise it's a bad signal to the youngsters.

Now, is he could only control a bag of sand....

How much of the £13m transfer fee went to the selling club?

I presume such detail should be in that clubs accounts but I fear that detail will never be known.

Why should it be known? Its got nothing to do with us.

Nothing dodgy here at all. We bought a player who was having a purple patch for over the odds thats all.

I think it is fair to say he has acted with dignity and has shown himself in a good light, in what must be quite a difficult time for the lad.

Can't imagine we will ever see him in the first XI again though, to not give him a squad number sounds pretty final!
