Oumar Niasse

Kone or Valencia could easily score hat tricks for the u23s but it still doesn't make them good enough of worthy of starting games for a top 7 PL side like we are. Talk about clutching at straws, the lad is clearly utter sewage and I trust in the judgement of Koeman and his staff.
What a ridiculous thread.

You know what... he might not actually be that bad. Koeman might be playing a wicked make-it-too-hard-for-me-to-ignore-you game with him, and his impressive goals for the u23s could help him get back into the squad. Let's face it, Kone and Valencia are absolutely crap, and Niasse is at least quick, strong and physically fit. Another few goals and good performances might get him his reward imo. We need to wrap Lukaku in cotton wool if he's to be our only striker starting games, so if that means bringing Niasse on at 2-0 up with 15 minutes to go so be it.

It'd be hilarious if he was to go on to become a Everton legend.

NIASSE'S ON FIRE, YOUR (under 23) DEFENCE IS TERRIFIED!!

I still don't think we'll even see him on the bench this season. It MUST be to do with his personal life, no way would a manager completely freeze out a player. Regardless of his talent. They'd always try and motivate them to do better.

You are trying to polish a turd.

Let it go.

I love how he's played less than 90mins for us and been shamelessly written off by fat beauts who play football manager and play fifa.
Yeah, but you have to weigh up that he's been irretrievably written off by one well-informed expert with unique access to the situation - Ron K; one poorly-informed pseudo expert with unique access - Roberto Martinez; then the 1000s of knowledgeable Blues who know what a footballer looks like; before you get to the fat beauts who play football manager and fifa.

If we are loaded, which I don't believe we are, he should be binned the same way Martinez was. Pay up his contract and get him out. I cannot believe that anyone is seriously suggesting this clown get a place on the bench because of a couple of tap ins against kids.

Hes a footballer not a bloody war criminal!
No the first part, yes to the second, he's not a war criminal - yet.

Saying that, people who work illegally in the UK on the basis of fraudulent immigration processes are criminals in the eyes of the law. That's often very unfair of course, as they are being exploited by others - but let's not kid ourselves that this was a normal transfer even by Russian standards.
For a non EU footballer to get a work permit they need to be 'internationally established at the highest level, and whose employment will make a significant contribution to the development of their sport at the highest level'.

Oumar doesn't meet these criteria, obviously he's a million miles off in reality, but also formally he hadn't played enough games for Senegal. So he would have been treated as an exceptional case. Something we can all agree on....

I was sat next to evertons analyst for this hatrick he scored. He has no future at Everton.

Sad to see a poster judging an Everton player in this way. I think of people for want to get behind him they should keep it to themselves.

I beg your pardon and would suggest you read this again.

Whilst I admire your undoubted optimism mate, and you make a fair point about him joining the club at a time when the dressing room was probably fraying at the very least, I fear it may be ill-judged.

I made a point of watching him closely in pre-game warm-ups last season and I felt sorry for him.
His touch was awful and you only had to look at the other players to see they were trying not to get involved with a passing routine with him. Pienaar did one pre-game and not once did Niasse control a pass first touch and his passing to SP was all adrift too.

Having spent the silly money we did on him, we have to hope that what we saw of him last season was totally false and that he may/will surprise us all... but one has ones doubts I'm afraid.

Unlike others who post about players flatly stating 'They're crap' etc etc I was purposely guarded in what I said.

Until such time as he may be given a full 90 minutes, I'll reserve my full judgement and even then may choose not to air my opinion.

As to what we saw last season, in very small and fleeting appearances, I don't think what I commented above was out of order.
