2017/18 Oumar Niasse

I would like the FA to define the term DIVE. To me a dive is no contact made yet the player still falls to the floor claiming contact. (see Dele Alli, Zaha or Ashley Young for examples). What Niasse did was feel contact and then exaggerate his fall like most strikers do and like like most strikers are told to do. If they are charging him with that, exaggeration then he has a case to answer but he didn't dive

They've set a precedent now. In the interests of fairness, they need to go over every single "diving" incident this season and act accordingly. Otherwise, the league is an utter sham!

What's the ban if it goes through?

Dive or no dive it opens up a can of worms. Surely there have been simiar incidents all season. The player will basically be labeled a diver moving forward now. The referee will have it in the back of his head and every tackle will be called a dive by opposition defenders.

Utter bollocks.

The first case where this charge has been made resulted in a 2 match ban for Shaun Miller.

It will be the Andy Johnson effect.

Oumar will never be awarded another penno

2 game ban mate. Also agree, there have been plenty of players going down with minimal contact this season, but for some reason they start the ban ball rolling with us.
