Badly kopite this thread. Suck it up you meffs. You make me sick with these “ what about him!!!!!!11111” shouts

Richarlison got away with a clear dive vs Arsenal a few weeks ago, everyone knew it was a dive, he initiated any contact himself and was going down regardless. Most thought the contact element made it unprovable and the first successfully punished one would be when there was absolutely no contact at all, and therefore no possibility of doubt.

Now we know different.

There's no way we'll see a Liverpool, United, City, Spurs, Arsenal or Chelsea player get done like this. No way.

Also -

Dive in the game = a yellow card.
Dive not seen, due to poor reffing = 2 game ban.

Why are clubs and players getting done for poor refereeing?

It’s just another excuse for the FA to make questionable decisions in favour of certain clubs and to detract from the fact that refereeing in this country is in a sorry state.

Just last night when a Brighton player was scythed down in the area, not only did the ref not give a penalty, he gave a corner although tbf didn't have a great view so went to his ‘assistant’ who should be getting this right, and the man who should have gone to specsavers told him that it was a goal kick. You couldn't make it up.

if we had a manager of clout. This wouldn't happen.

You think the FA would do this to Pep, Poch, Klopp or Mourinho - not a chance.

There's absolutely no point appealing as the verdict is always decided before any appeal.

Steve Bruce famously likened the appeals process to a kangaroo court and with an FA success rate above 99%, any appeal made is 100% certain to fail. Its a set penalty too so no point in even trying for mitigation.
