Imagine still wanting a manager who left ten years ago but got us 4th place once. Nothing says lack of ambition like Dave’s Moyes

Says so much about our fans and their aims for our club … playing for a draw. Seriously, have you know pride?

It’s like still loving your first girlfriend- move on, she’s ugly now and there’s better shags out there
Never mind Dour Dave he is history 77 fans have chosen Baines and Rooney!

Graham Potter

More demanding then a manager that took a club batteling relegation and took them on to win a European cup?

What would you he happy with?

People just hear moyes and automatically dismiss it because he was already our manager.

Moyes is blatantly our best option thats available to us.
Why couldn’t West Ham wait to get shut off him then ?

What that poster fails to mention is the amount of money Moyes spent at West Ham to get that trophy which let's be honest is the modern day inter totto cup and they were expected to get to the final given the strength of their squad. It also nearly cost them their league status as they were very poor that season and finished 14/15th I think. Fans got fed up with Davie as they were looking at the names they had in the squad and wondering why the football was still so route one when they had loads of these technical players.

The finished 14 and were never in danger of getting relegated.

Moyes knew they didnt have the squad to win the ELC and get Europe again. So they chose the cup. He won the cup and got them europa league as well.

Same thing Mourinho did at united in his first season to get CL

The world of football is a big place, there are progressive, intelligent, dynamic young managers out there who are different to the likes of moyes and Dyche and who we should be looking at for the future of our club at BMD. I really don’t want Dyche or moyes walking us out at BMD.

We are so short sighted as a club and fanbase, it was just like giving Benitez the job because he knows the area.

Moyes is probably better than Dyche, but is he blatantly our best option that’s available - sorry, I don’t agree.

We might get a few more points on the board, but the football would be almost a turgid as what we’ve had recently, ask the wham fans.

Bringing moyes back is like the club turning to Kendall twice more, it won’t end well imo.

Moyes did a decent job, but helped the chairman build this plucky little Everton underdog ethos that pervades the club and fanbase even now, and denigrates what we actually are and stand for. Dyche has continued that narrative, he prattles on about changing the story but he absolutely hasn’t.

We desperately need the ownership sorting out so we can get a plan and long term strategy in place.
