Saha and Owen could compare injurys.
Little Welsh hobbit, no thanks.

Yak, Saha, Owen? I dont care what if you think they're all crocked - you see that in the team sheet, you **** a brick.
Just like people do when they see Martins, Viduka and Owen?
I don't think he'd be a good signing, even for free. Too injury prone, doesn't seem arsed about football anymore. Would attract unwanted media attention and double page spreads in the Mail whenever he was dropped. I wouldn't want us to play him ahead of Yakubu nor would I want us to change our successful formation to accommodate him.

A free transfer for a 29-year-old who would command a starting place when fit who would instantly raise the profile of the club, especially useful when we are hoping to attract investment. Complete professional who would fit in very well and would have a point to prove.
Its a no brainer in that respect.
If he would accept a massive pay cut then that outlines his intentions.
Europa league is bigger next season lads, its all about squad depth. A world class striker on a free who could give us options? He's scored 10 goals this season for Newcastle - if he done the same for us he would be our leading goalscorer...
I say yes.
To paraphrase Owen himself from the last time this was a serious proposition: I'm not sure this would be the best move for the club 'at this stage in his career'.
Pay per play maybe, but only if he apologises for snubbing us before.
Could be. I thought they just offered him higher wages.
Either way he chose to go there and said that Everton wasn't a club he wanted to play for 'at this stage in his career'.
