Panorama to question ownership of Everton

The Everton Arsenal section was in there purely for publicity, it didn’t relate to the rest of the 90 minute programme and was quickly resolved with the guardian amending an article to say they have been shown documents showing Moshiri eventually paid Epion (Usmanov) for the stake in Arsenal.

Nothing to see here at all

That's what I don't like about this, the BBC have just lumped us in the same show about tax dodgers, when the Everton Arsenal thing was more to do with Usmanov having shares in one club and owning another, and did Moshiri use his own money to buy Everton which hes now proved he has, Moshiri and Usmanov should sue for slander haha

The BBC evidence looks damning to me, however no one seems interested.

I stated that pages back and nothing to get excited over.

True, if there was a foul-play, we are the victims here, legally speaking we were scammed.

If i sold my car to a person and 2 years later they found out that this person robbed a bank and the money he paid me is from the bank, it's not my fault and no one comes near me.
Are you sure about that
The bank could claim the money back

the bbc reported it asif we was doing something illegal, it is not illegal to own 2 or more clubs, it is completely legal, you could own 5 and its legal its just the premier leagues self imposed rules that have no legal standing anywhere

just the premiere league will not allow you to compete in the league if you do, but they have no legal powers, apart from them saying you cant play with us they can not do anything

Great point. Even if true the Mosh/Usmanov thing has nothing to do with tax-dodging.

This ties in to the anti-Russia theory: that it's part of the larger anti-Putin propaganda the Western media constantly paint. Any story, however small, can add to the overall impression that Russians are crooked.

Can you name me a billionaire who is
Even Gates had a reputation before he found God and started giving his money away
Nice men don’t become billionaires , hence you and I are relatively poor

There's reputations and there's reputations.

There's reputations and there's reputations.
It’s all a matter of degrees Dave
Every big company has dealings that they want kept out of the public eye
Even Bono with all his high and mighty talk of feeding the worlds poir has been caught avoiding tax.
As I said no billionaire wants their dealings made public

If they can prove the stolen money is now in your possession they can legally claim it
It's an interesting question. I made my comment in jest, but in reality, I think this would be a devil of a job for a bank to prove and in fact track down.

How would the bank be able to prove that the money stolen was used on this particular item or not on other things, and actually legitimately gained funds were spent to make the purchase? How much would it take for the bank to chase it down? If it was in cash then it's unlikely to be over £8k, certainly less than £15k (otherwise the HMRC would have to be contacted I think). I don't think a bank would chase that down after 2 years, especially if the car (or whatever) was sold and sale amount returned to the bank. I think you'd be in the clear. I do not know, I am only thinking aloud. If you have a source of info that I could look at I would be interested to find out.
