Very good defender. Not the best of "footballers". I think he's been decent for a lot of the 2nd half of the season. But sadly we've seldom had any more than 2-3 players in good form at any given time this season.

i liked how he just booted the ball away at any time possible. him and stones were excellent, there is no way in hell they should have had to do so much work in that game though.

Jagielka's always been good at the last-ditch, backs-to-the-wall type of defending. Not surprised to see him do well in a scrappy game like this.
It was against Zamora and co. , though, so I won't be too over the top in praising him.
