I'll do that mate. Also (one I've talked of a few times here) the lad Chelsea have loaned out to Gladbach: Andreas Christensen. He's class in the Stones mould but actually defends too - voted Gladbach's top player of last season. Chelsea rejected a move by Gladbach to make his move permanent for £14M. If we get in there with a bigger offer maybe it'll shift their attitude. Can play right FB as well.

Don't see control sanctioning any quality cb leaving mate, wasn't the gladbach loan a prearranged two year one when it happened, in which case explains them turning down a perm move as content may have wanted him

I think he's about done. Been very good for us but he (and several others) need replacing if we want to compete at the top end.

Maybe. It seems from reading around that Conte does want him, but I read no direct quote to that effect.

The lad is still only young (20) but yeh does look a great player.

Yep, seems the loan is a definite 2 year deal. I still think there's leeway there though. We got Lukaku in the end. I think more than Chelsea holding on to hom that his obvious happiness at Gladbach is the issue on Christensen

Yep.

Think he suits that club and that league perfectly from what I've seen of him.

One thing I noticed recurring: he goes to ground a lot. I'm not really sure about a CB who's doing that. In the PL he'll be caught out big time. No need to do it either because he obviously has pace to get to forwards and take them away from danger.

Raw though. I've noticed some comments saying he can be a bit rash, but overall has improved in a team that actually struggled defensively last season, and this term he has been key to their good start (think they are 4th/5th as it stands).

He's 21. He's recently said he's happy at Hoffenheim but I think this should be the type of player we're looking at to bring in in that role.

Young (20-25), athletic and good on the ball. Christensen fits that mould as well.

A perfect folly for Williams.

Funes I think could do it, but I just never feel safe with him in there.

Well, Koeman only last week commented how good a CB he thought Mori could be.

Then Mori put in possibly the worst performance I've seen on Saturday.

He did well vs West Ham though, so I do think he'll be in vs Swansea.

I for once actually agree with you here pal!
Without critisisng Koeman too much as he has only been here a couple of months, the answer isnt always to buy a brand new team.
Koeman did a great job with Van Dijk's concentration issues and defensive positioning in 12 months for saints, whos to say he cant do the same with Funes Mori
