Phil Jagielka

MCL by the looks of it, seemed to have an abnormal amount of laxity when tested for it.
The way he collided is a fairly normal mechanism of injury for it as well.

His injury might be good for us in a long term as RFM needs some playing time and could be better than jags who for most of times is very good defender for us but sometimes is very poor and was never too class defender. Plus his age and he wont be any better

Hopefully it's not too bad. He's been excellent this season.

At least Stones is back and we have Funes Mori now too. Hopefully he can impress.

Jagielka is the ultimate ditherer with the ball, rarely crops up with a goal (still won't ever forget his one at Anfield though) and far, far too often gifts away possession too easily.

Yes he's been good for us, and he looks a lot better when alongside the much superior Stones, but I am not disappointed he's going to miss some games for us. Hopefully Funes will strike up a good partnership with Stones and it is a sign of things to come.

Actually I see it as an exciting opportunity.
