Phil Neville - your thoughts now?

Apparently there was a 'Gentleman's Agreement' in place for him to continue in some role at the club when his playing contract expired - The club went back on this and good old Pip wasn't too happy about it
I'd rather he sue, tbh.

If even Bill would prefer to pay him off.....

Er... Did he not go to United?

You can't sue based on a gentlemen's agreement mate, it'd be laughed out of court and people would just point at Pip as he shuffled away awkwardly. He might outpoint the judge and the club though.

Where are you hearing this from?

This is complete bolllocks

You can't sue over a gentleman's agreement and Neville ran of to United at his own will

So when we told him he wasn't going to get the manager's job he took off? Don't know how he could have a case, he was only at Man Utd to keep count of the balls like, same as if he would have come here.

Sorry buddy but that tosh

Neville served the club with a writ for unpaid wages as we decided not to pay him for the month he was unemployed between "retiring" and scuttling off to United. Got told where to stick it.

Lot of contempt on here for Phil Neville......stupid if u ask me. Hundreds of appearances in the blue shirt, never gave anything less than 100%. Good player. Great servant. Deserves far more respect
Already got a thread Danny boy.

What's that you say? Where's the link?

Find it yourself you lazy, lazy boy x

Phil was gushing in his praise for the ref at Loftus Road spotting Joe Hart touching the ball twice from a free kick thus rendering Charlie Austin's "goal" illegal.

Lineker and the surprisingly good as a pundit Jermaine Jenas agreed with him in thinking it was a wonderful piece of reffing as in their opinion it was extremely hard to see Joe taking the double kick from where the ref was stood.

But he didn't see it :(

If they had watched Sky's coverage of the game they would have known he was completely unsighted and it was his linesman who brought it to his attention via the com thingy the officials have these days :)
