….Warrington struggling for game time at Plymouth but seems like Lewis Gibson has made a very decent start under Schumacher, plenty of fans voting for him as their MoM at the weekend.

I have no doubt Gibson > Holgate.
gibson was unlucky with a couple of bad loans at poor teams...think he'll work his way back to the prem

…yep, naturally left sided I can see him being one we regret not trying to keep.
I think Gibson had more than his share of bad luck with injuries, they were a big part of the reason he didn’t succeed at Everton, still young hopefully he can still make the premier league with his ability, he always had that, maybe Lady Luck will go his way from now on.
Disastrous debut for Mason Holgate for Southampton. Hooked on 64 minutes with his team 4-0 down at Sunderland. Finished 5-0. Saints are 7th.

No action again for Lewis Warrington for Plymouth who won 3-0 at home to Blackburn bit worrying the lack of game time. Plymouth 10th.

Heartbreak for Stanley Mills's Oxford at home to Port Vale. Mills came off the bench on 79 minutes with his side losing 1-0 and a man down after a sending off. He provided an assist in stoppage time to draw his side level but Oxford then gave away a pen, had another man sent off and lost 2-1. Oxford drop to 6th.

Good day for Reece Welch whose Forest Green won 1-0 at Sutton. He played the full match. Forest Green are 18th.

90 minutes for Harry Tyrer whose Chesterfield won 4-3 away to Aldershot. Chesterfield are 2nd.

Clean sheet for Zan-Luk Leban for Farsley in their scoreless draw at home to King's Lynn. 11th.
Thanks for your report John, keep them coming they are always welcome.

Loanees in action yesterday in the EFL Cup.

90 minutes for Stanley Mills in Oxford United's 3-1 win at Northampton.

A 3-0 win for Reece Welch's Forest Green at home to Shrewsbury. He played the whole match.

By the way, Zan-Luk Leban missed Farsley's match on Tuesday as he's on international duty. They lost 4-0 with a 19 year old signed from Huddersfield in goal. Slovenia U21s play Bosnia this evening.

Stanley Mills's Oxford didn't play this weekend due to (others') international duties.

Reece Welch got an assist to put Forest Green 1 up in the 1st half at home to Crewe but they ended up losing 4-1. He played the whole match. Forest Green are 19th.

Good comeback for Chesterfield who beat Dagenham and Redbridge 3-1 with two late goals. Harry Tyrer played 90 minutes. They are 2nd though Harry has conceded 15 goals in 8 matches.

Zan-Luk Leban missed Farsley's 1-0 win due to his internacional call up.

Most definitely should of been loaned out ...

….he was only loaned out because Dyche and Thelwell were not impressed enough to think they would use him.

Dobbin was the one who impressed so Dyche kept him. If they thought Mills had something to offer he’d still be here but they didn’t.
