The last two coaches have lost large parts of the changing room. I can't remember that happening at a club managed by Sam.

I actually think the players would enjoy working under him. The biggest problem would be fans not giving him a chance.

In an ideal world he certainly wouldn't be my first choice but this isn't an ideal world. I came out of Goodison on Sunday just as terrified of relegation as when I went in.
A couple of wins would change that mate, fickle bunch we are.

I’m gobsmacked - what happens in January when he wants to spend millions on certain players - this is where Walsh needs to be in control. I can only think that being until the end of the season means there is a bigger plan, but this is Everton!

I think we'll be pulling the spending in Jan. Sell to buy maybe but we won't be spending.

I would not mind one bit if Big Sam becomes our manager.

  • He has a clear plan about what is needed
  • This will be his biggest job in club football so he will give it his everything
  • He never looses the dressing room, and actually makes everyone fight for the same cause
  • Has a top scouting network and knows Walsh
  • His way of playing the game and us fans wanting high tempo direct football is the same

Deal until end of season would suit us imo. We need to get points on the board.it starts from not leaking goals and big sam has done that time and time again. We are leaking goals from lack of shape and mistakes. He will put a stop to that.

Summer sutuation can be reviewed.

I wouldn’t allow Walsh to be in control of my pocket money to be honest, no idea why he’s still in a job.

Let’s just sign Crouchie in January, still got it.

I know Big Sam is not the most glamorous of appointments, but we could do much worse.

He got Bolton into Europe on a small budget, he got West Ham into Europe on a small budget and in all his years of management he's never been relegated.

Independent reckons he's coming.
The whole thing is a mess for a whole host of reasons. I can half understand why giving him a contract until the end of the season. But where would the incentive be to attract decent players in January. If I'm honest I hadn't paid that much attention regards him to know about the stress issues he had/has. I can't think,of a more stress inducing position than manager of Everton.
