Possible Goodison redevelopment.

Use the park end as the main stand, turn the pitch 90 degrees. Redevelop around that as new Goodison. Recycle what parts can be salvaged and maybe throw a museum into it. It doesn't need to be a financial albatross. It means there's still an Everton connect in the community that is tangible, touchable, a relic of the city and it's history.

Yeah not a bad idea at all.
There wouldn’t be much room for stands behind the goals in this scenario but if attendances ever became big enough to warrant more stands then they could always rotate the pitch back.

Smaller stand behind a goal on Goodison road, small stand with room for the future Gwladys side, token away end exposed to all the elements there is behind the Bullens goal.

I'm glad some are on board with the idea. Although the more I think about it I reckon the Bullens Road stand should be preserved. Obviously not as a football stand for the Women's but as a piece of football history and architecture. Turn it in to a hotel or flats. Or both.

Well if it isn't saved, we'll regret it.
If it has to go, I hope it is reclaimed and put in a museum at BMD.

how do you turn it in to a hotel without gutting and rebuilding it and then whats the point.

Think you`d be short of space to fit a pitch that way.

That's not the case at all. It's brick.

Yes, but there will be a reason why the brick is covered up. I suspect it would cost a lot to restore the brickwork that's under there. And regardless, it's still not comparable with Highbury imo. Don't get me wrong. I'd love it if they could restore the building and have the other side facing onto the pitch (possibly a park) with the truss as a feature. I'm just not convinced it would stack up financially. If it does then great. But I'm very sceptical.

Wrong.

The reason it was covered up was because it mirrored the main stand; that is the only reason.

It was a fresh "modern" look.

Further fresh look followed with the montage of history around Goodison.
