If Moyes goes the next manager probably won't have us winning the league but he might a) have us turn up in Derbies b) have us turn up in cups c) play decent watchable attacking football d) turn up before christmas, e) not fall out with and banish our best players and f) play the kids if they're good enough,.

That will do me. A league cup win, 6 points off the RS and a poisition of 17th in the league will be a better season than Moyes has ever given us.

Your cat could probably win a game at anfield, too.

No mate, only great Managers like Martinez and Rodgers win games at Anfield, the true greats.

I think Owen Coyle has also won there.

If only we had them.

We would be finishing 15th, but them wins at Anfield, its like winning a Cup Final.

He has the worst derby record of any everton manager and has never won at Anfield, Old Trafford, the Emirates or Stanford Bridge. Do you not have a problem with that?

Not really no.

Its not great, but the Season isnt about winning at those grounds, its about being 15th in December and then trying to finish in that top 8.

Rodwell, Barkley, Vellios, Duffy, Vaughan, Baxter, Coleman. Moyes ruins promising young players by either playing them out of position or not playing them at all.

If Moyes goes, we won't see a midfield made up of Neville, Heitinga and Cahill ever again and we might see different formations for different matches rather 4-5-1 at home against QPR and forcing Beckford to play as a lone striker when it clearly didn't work but he was very good paired with Saha. We might even see an eleven of players all in their natural positions and picked on form rather then old favourites.

And we won't see Anichebe get his 136th Everton appearance.

More crying on Moyes? Is it Moyes fault that he makes the money he does? Hmm if you were offered a great raise at work would you turn it down? Seriously guys. Moyes has done a lot for Everton.

The grass is always greener syndrome is in full effect in this thread. I will say what I have said before. If not Moyes then who? Who wants to come in with our budget? Anyone who does would be immediately crying about the lack of funds, etc. Then the losses would be blamed on lack of funds. Face it, Moyes is the best man for us.

Finally, reality check lads. We are not a top tier club. We are skint, could use a new stadium and have to rely on aging players to get the job done. We are not going to realistically compete for Champs League, or the League title unless we get some serious investment. We are a club that no one likes to play, but we are not top tier. Those days are gone until the current board and owner sells to a Billionaire. That's how the game goes these days. The sooner we except that the sooner we can move to doing the right thing which is supporting Moyes, and the players.

Can't believe you'd accept relegation...I'm just walking away now.

Deportivo won the Spanish League! Yes they also got relegated and spent all of one season in the segunda before getting promoted again. But jesus you can't pretend that the last twelve years hasn't been much better for them than it was us.

Anyone who thinks both a league title and a relegation is worse than neither shouldn't follow football. They should just become an accountant.

Couldn't agree more. He's a great servant and should be treated with respect. What he's not is value for the money he's being paid. That's not his fault for accepting it but it's why he shouldn't still be employed here.
