Project restart discussion.

What in blazes does this have to do with restarting the PL? People -- of all colours -- are still dying. Shift this argument over to the Covid thread, FFS.

It has everything to do with Project Restart. The science univocally says that heavily tested, young athletes playing football in the open air will have absolutely no effect on coronavirus numbers.

So? You're prattling on about a whole lot of other stuff that has nothing whatsoever to do with football. Stick that in the Covid thread and leave this one about the merits, or lack thereof, of restarting the league. You're derailing the thread.

Then why did a Norwich player test positive yesterday ?

Because every single Premier League player, Manager. Coach and the support staff are being tested.

The fact that the Norwich player was asymptomatic and able to play yet still tested positive for COVID-19 shows the benefits of blanket testing. The Norwich player will now self-isolate when he probably wouldn't have, and everyone he has come in to contact with in a Football environment will be tested.

So, if I follow your line of thought, football is completely 100% safe to resume, therefore the league can restart, therefore Liverpool get their much-needed six points, ergo you're a kopite.

Nothing is 100% safe but if there was an industry you could place your children in to from a safety point of view then Premier League football would be right up there.

It has nothing to do with the gobshites because as soon as the Premier League announced that Null and void was off the table they were always going to win it,

This is about people propagating disinformation during a pandemic.

So that means Norwich players and Spurs players who came into contact with him, could now have it. Testing does not stop you getting Covid 19, You do understand that don't you ? Also you do seem absolutely desperate for Football to carry on ar'nt you, why is that ?

Why not wait until the vaccine is due, end of September they say.. Null and Void until next season.

Is there a paper on this? Not being pernickety, just I've not seen a single Doctor prominent in the world of football nor epidemiology come forward and extoll the safety. For example, the 39 seconds or whatever statistic seems like very poor science.

Where have you seen this vaccine that’s coming out end of September , next year at the earliest I’ve heard if and when they find one , do we null and void next season too if so there possibly won’t be a season after or the landscape will look totally different . All the clubs inc ours have been desperate financially for it to return .
