I think if the league is stopped again then it just needs binning altogether this season, can't have last year's farse of getting it completed in a shorter time to accommodate the next season which in turn brings more problems to player fitness

Also on another note, once the league start bringing in rule changes like extra subs and water breaks like we've seen then the season is compromised and illegitimate anyway
I seem to remember last season it was said that if the same thing was to happen this season, that there would be a cut off point of 26 games to end the season completely-never seen nothing after that was said so nothing probably happened

England games in march etc need stoped if league is stoped, and how they could fit all prem games/euro games/cups in so fast to finish season would kill players

They should never have had any international football and probably scrapped it for a few years. It's rubbish anyway. Is anyone bothered about the euros / world cup over domestic football?

The country is going to go into at least a 1 month lockdown so just bin it off until its safer to play games. Teams will only be doing what City did yesterday anyway. Losing interest in the whole thing by the day.

Cant see euro happening me, loads of people from all over europe in the middle of a pandemic?

I’d agree, unless it’s a one country no fans model. I said at the very very start original restart discussion that I wonder would they consider moving it to winter, ahead of the World Cup the year after. I still think that could be a live probability, with this season playing out from now to October if there are significant delays, then 2022 calendar year season and catch up to traditional years in 2023.

Still think if there are serious disruptions in 2021 this might be where Europe and UK (Sigh) end up

There's no way UEFA are moving the tournament a 2nd time. Even without fans they will make money from broadcasting.

I'm not being horrible, some of us called this. We pointed out we risked losing a far bigger season for the sake of saving the end bit of last year.

Last season should have been binned, and we should have started the new season. We could have been 30 games in now, and easily just taken a month off to ensure it could be completed.

If this season is stopped, and potentially cancelled, it's going to be an absolute disgrace. It will be financially ruinous as well.

The fact we are having to potentially keep changing start/finish times of seasons, which again nobody wanted is absolutely ludicrous. All to re start a season that to had all intents and purposes had ended, with a meaningless circus that nobody even remembers now.

Shoulda coulda woulda. Key point is last wasn’t & was never going to be binned. We were aligned on the morality of it all along, but I banged the “it will be completed drum” & faced much derision for it before being proved right.

Olympics already open to moving again and if the current situation gets worse, I wouldn’t be shocked if Euros start suggesting similar to accommodate, crowds, current seasons ending and conclusion to the CL.

Realistically that would be far more likely to be a months delay (which would suit everyone), but who knows what’s ahead.

Bear in mind, at present there is no venue agreed for next years Euros, with the 2020 venues re-applying, for a new tournament based on multiple crowd and covid scenarios
