May as well not even go in the first place if that's your stance mate. Let another fan in who'll actually get behind the team.

Ah would you have rather him given some guff about him not meaning it, only joking, Everton has always been in his heart???

Let's get down to brass tacks here. ..... Was he wrong?!

Or let's put it another way - did you enjoy watching Everton park the bus and celebrate a draw against Liverpool?

Because he's clarified the context.....why were we playing for draws? The subsequent record against that lot suggests that he was right to rib us ......

Fans with absolutely no sense of direction are holding this club back. The celebration following the Derby win was embarrassing - it highlighted just how low we had gone in previous years

Not nice to read this is it. ... But it's true

He’ll set us up exactly the same when he takes us there

Playing defensively away at a better team is a standard tactic, and perfectly valid

Ancelotti did it last season and we won

When he parks the bus at Anfield he’ll have made a rod for his own back by essentially admitting he’s small time

It's not true that's why.

He was wanted by West Ham and Arsenal in 2018, but they were unwilling to pay his buyout fee. Spain also wanted him to manage the national team, but again Ashley demanded they pay a buyout fee.

He was wanted by us in 2019, but the compensation was too high and he was unable to get out of his contract. He was also wanted by Celtic, Arsenal and West Ham again.

This bit is a lie.

He won in 2005 against them with a much weaker squad, and he managed to reach the final again with relatively better squad but still not better then AC Milan.

Reaching finals with that squad in itself was an achievement against the top teams in Europe.

2 finals in 3 years with that squad, And 1 more semifinal and 1 QF.
How many league titles? In fact, when exactly was his last league title?

We know he has some journos eating out of the palm of his hand so I don't put too much value in this at all.

Did you read the whole article? How many from the list of players he signed there have they sold on for a profit? They took a loss on nearly all of them. That's why Ashley cut the purse strings.

They've got Dwight Gayle and DeAndre Yedlin down as a success which tells you how ridiculous those ratings are.
When was the last time we sold a player on for profit?

Got it, Pep Guardiola and Steve Bruce bad, Rafael Benitez good. It's really weird that you are a fan of a manager ahead of being a fan of any particular club especially when that manager is a beached Iberian cetacean who hasn't done anything of note in years.
I'm not in UK, I'm from India, I like football, but I like to see some good football, while watching CL I realized that most teams win on their day, or the stronger teams win. There was always a confidence when Rafael's team played in Europe no matter who the opposition was or what team Rafael played.

Real Madrid fluked it 3 in a row. Juventus were really unlucky not to beat them in one of them, and Bayern was unlucky to screw up with a back up GK in the other (when Neuer was injured). I'd say even Lpool got lucky against Barca, for that 4th goal.

With so much money it is all down to the players these days, and only a few managers are able to make the difference

If you guys are thinking Steve Bruce did well, the foundation was there.

He wasted 40mn on Joelinton & Bought ASM for 17mn, who was injury prone. But had to rely on ASM, to finish 12th. Spent and still the same.

Bruce had nothing to do with Joelinton coming in, that had been set up long before his arrival.
