You always create these false dichotomies, Dave. "All those who oppose him want to keep the club a shambles; they'd have been chuffed with the galloot taking over" is just your latest nonsense. There are plenty of posters who don't want Benitez and wouldn't want Ferguson as manager, myself included. You constantly accuse people of strawman arguments whilst running your own scarecrow factory.
I admit they are approximations. However, gthe likes of @nsno-chris are serial offenders when it comes to rejecting managers even before they have a game under their belt.

That's just not something that can be ignored.

The common denominator is an inability to grasp we need a root and branch clear out.

Some people dont deal in facts.

He's done nothing so far of note, but he should have all our support as he tries to get this shambles of a club back on the rails.

All those who oppose him want to keep the club a shambles; they'd have been chuffed with the galloot taking over and making clueless decision after clueless decision - because he's one of them. They hate change. They are, ultimalty, frightened people. They are the exact same lot who wanted Martinez out of Everton from the off because he represented change in a different way.

We have to embrace this, because the alternative is another go on the managerial merry-go-round...and the chances of Everton landing a decent one gets more and more unlikely with each time it goes around.
Agreed. We are playing a dangerous game with constant changes, Ancelotti gave us two fingers, let's not forget that.

They went for experience and nous, you could not argue otherwise with the uphill task Benitez has.

We can't afford this to go wrong, let alone actively hope that it does. I just don't understand that. We are potentially one more spin from going into a nosedive here.

Some of it is hanging everything we've got on the new stadium. More dangerous folly. It cannot and will not save us. We have to get our house in order now, and well before that takes shape, in order to reap any benefit.

Loads acting like Geordies get's you the barcodes in the end.

The law of unintended consequences.

Nope, he doesn't turn up at Geordie shindigs and didn't bother relocating his family up there either. He does turn up to koppite shindigs and stayed close to his beloved reds ever since moving here to manage them. He's a koppite.
that must be why he managed Chelsea and manages Everton then. Total kopite.

Did you like Peter Beardsley and Kevin Sheredy or where they also the devil incarnate??
Or is your rivalry think a load of…….??
Yes I Loved Morrissey, Sheedy, liked Beardsley, Hated Borrows, David Johnson. McMahon, Barmby and a few that have escaped me.

Sticking up for this fat kopite pig

wrong David, the ones I didn’t want in order (since Moyes left):
Fat Kopite Pig
Fat Bung taking rat
Useless Clown Shoes Blurt

Silva didn’t actually bother me that much when we got him, could have went either way. And I actually liked him as a person.

Carlo was a god damn legend of the game, marvellous player and a better manager, but hounded out by the plotter rats.

Now you lay in bed with a kopite, singing YNWA in harmony.

We never forget or forgive.

We didn't need Benitez to do that, we need a DoF that can actually do his job.
