Dyche is a fantastic manager but I doubt he'd come to us. I honestly think Moshiri is with Benitez for the long haul, hence all his statements about ignoring the fans in the future.

People laugh but Dyche is a decent manager - brought a small town club into the PL and has kept them there for 6 seasons with the 18th lowest net spend over that time including a 7th place finish taking them into Europe.

They've finished above us twice in the last 4 years as well.

With a bigger budget would like to see how he would get on.
Fair enough, you might be right, as long as it’s not with us!!! He’s done a great job at Burnley but he’s a Tony Pullis or fat Sam. That’s his style of play, ‘ave it, the type of players and attributes he looks for. He’s a bad fit for bigger teams where he’ll be expected to set his team up to play a bit of football.

So you've moved on from Benitez to Dyche now? That was quick

He did a good job, just a pity how he ditched us.

A mixture of us having no money, and Real Madrid, so can't really blame him

Cruliest thing of all, is we had Jamo Rodriguez playing & Carlo Ancelotti as manager, and fans weren't allowed go to games.

We now have "him" and Rondon and you can fill your boots.

"Long suffering Evertonians".

Dyche with a budget and time would have a club around top 10 sniffing those 6th/7th spots imo.

Similiar to Benitez but again the idiots in the fanbase wont/wouldn't give either time as they want "hollywood" even if that means 17th under "Rudio Garciao" from Vitori CF in which Rudio would be told to sling his hook after 12-18 months when Michael Keane is flapping in a high line.

Yes but you called for him to go after he was here 6 months.

Now you're berating blues blues not having blind faith in an ex kopite who has shown us nothing worthwhile.

Did I? I don't recall exactly when I decided I didn't think he was right for the position.

I'm sure you can have a good snuffle in the vaults and find that out, I certainly won't bother.

I can guarantee I will have only wanted him gone for footballing reasons though, not a childish preoccupation of whom he previously managed.

Wasn't talking to you there pal.

I gave you several footballing reasons though regarding Benitez. They are fair criticisms, and lots of them have been proven so. Especially the rotation in cups and the set piece defending. He wasn't an unknown, I was warning everyone how stubborn he was back when lots expected James to suddenly come back into the team. Weirdly, moving on James is one thing I did agree with.

It's very layered for lots of people, and people are all different. There are lots of reasons. To blame it all on people being upset with him being a red is totally wrong.

Finished 10th and 12th. Mad how our standards have just disintegrated.

I liked how he set us up to be solid first. I know most don't like that, but you only succeed in the long term with a good defence. The players let him down badly at home with so many lacklustre efforts.

The season ended as a failure of course, but it was a lot closer to being a good one than this one. This one is a write off already. With money this summer we would have been very good under Ancelotti, I have no doubt. But I imagine he was aware of how we had none.
