This team would get relegated trying to play Roger Schmidt's style of football, would be such an odd appointment lol

All of the front 4 as well as Allan and Doucoure could press...additionally, Davies could as well.

The defence would be higher up the pitch so no Keane which is also a good thing.

I doubt it would be worse than weve done so far and there could have been a clear tactical plan implemented.

its not the appointment id make though....

For me,

Ruben Amorim (Sporting)
Graham Potter (Brighton)
Marcelo Gallardo (River Plate)
Erik Ten Hag (Ajax)

Thats my shortlist

if the alternative is Dunc managing the team, it's Benitez everytime by the way

Watching Ferguson as caretaker and seeing us this season is like night and day.

From what ive seen, Ferguson was far superior to Benitez.

We were making offers according to the press no-one else, there was no way we were ever spending millions this time around.
Again, every time a team has a bad run, do we sack the manager?
When do the people who are actually kicking the ball around take responsibility
Nil satis and all that applies to the prats that play for us as well
I love this argument?

Who else, other than 'the press' reports transfer information?

We had some leeway at the very end of the window. The reason we didn't get Diaz isn't on Benitez. Benitez didn't want us to spend money on AMN, though. That's fine, I don't blame him, but that's why we only wanted him on loan. Benitez wasn't happy with any of the right-back options Brands came up with. So he was given the licence to say that he didn't want us to sign them.

We disagreed but I genuinely thought you wanted the best for the club , this is ridiculous you’re obviously just trolling .

Embarrassing

Remember the old saying "if Bill Kenwright wasn't a Blue he would have been chased out with pitchforks"

I have no sympathy for Blues who get upset by the current managers LFC past whilst having the hypocrisy to have clapped a "blue" who has ran us into the ground the past near two decades.

Also Baines and Reid are Reds yet none of the supa bloos have had a bad word said about either...

I’m certain you don’t care but Sorry fella I’m done you’re filed away with the we other wind up merchants , RS and general whoppers. Enjoy yourself though I’m Sure it’s great fun .

You missed Eddie howe off that list mate. Considering he is the only manager available in world football and the one we all supposedly want, the rest of your list is irrelevant.

People clapping Kenwright has nothing to do with Benitez

I am no Kenwright fan. I am not a Benitez fan either. There is no correlation.

They believed all the media reports about James being on £250k a week (despite previous reports of it being between £90-140k) but then don't believe media reports about transfer bids. Go figure that one out.

The hatred is more because he won stuff with them. He is one of their legends (or was anyway, dunno what they think of him now).

He is on banners in the kop and they had him dancing around on stage in plays etc.

Nobody has any real strong opinions about Rodgers because he didn't win anything with them and was a bit of a comedy character there because his weirdness was ultra magnified with their weirdo fans behind him. Rodgers isn't mainly known as being Liverpool manager whereas Benitez is/was synonymous with them.

And yet I'm sure most of us would have klopp, would we not?

I'm behind benitez for a few reasons,

1) I think given time he could make us a consistent europa league/ conference team.

2) we cant just keep sacking managers it will catch up with us eventually. We need to give someone time.

3) we need a consistent manager in charge to get rid of the dross in the squad and replace it. Absolute crap that has gotten away with murder year in and year out. Keane, holgate, Davies, gomes, tosun, delph, iwobi, Coleman and Kenny. They need cutting out of the squad and replacing with better players with actual work ethic in them. Defenders who it actually hurts them when they conceded, midfielders with pace and aggression and forwards who aren't rooted to the ground. The deadwood needs cutting out and replacing. The only problem is the deadwood keeps on getting the manager the sack before they can clear it out.

We're going backwards and these set of players are the reason and they have been for years we need to stick with a manager for a few years let them develop a team and see what their vision of the club is.

I have almost given up on him as he seems to have no idea during games. But I will cheer us on in the hope that he can get something out of the team v the spuds. If not, then that is me you will see sobbing near the corner flag..wah!

I don't think it's as easy as that.

For us to be in the running for Klopp we would have to be good in the first place right? But if we were good in the first place then I would want any other top end manager other than Klopp. Club rivalries are supposed to mean something. (He is also a bit of a weirdo).

I agree with your points (maybe not the first one) but we could have done all that without a divisive has been (in my opinion) manager. Its a big job for anyone and they need to be backed as much as they can both financially and from a fanbase point of view. The current manager is getting neither of that so it was always a daft appointment.

Some would say ran it into the ground. Others would say kept us afloat.

Baines and Reid are not Liverpool legends (I'm not even sure Baines IS a red and I know at least one person on here who doesn't have a good word to say about him...) Its a side of this discussion you don't seem to understand (or don't want to understand anyway)

Just because I aint one of the loud minority dont hate on me Flash.

Crying on here 24/7 aint seeing the fella sacked so best to just wait and see.

But make one thing clear - no manager is succeeding at present whilst Brands/Kenwright/current squad are still around the place.
