Yet that included wins away against Liverpool, West Ham and Arsenal, and the 3-3 draw at Old Trafford. Mad season. From the last 23 games we got 30 points. Very poor indeed.

Took the whole day on and off and just finished it.Rafa’s Everton: first impressions
The first analytical reporting detailing everything you need to know about the opening weeks of Rafael Benitez’ tenure at Everton football Club.toffeeanalysis.com
This is an absolute behemoth but I reckon at some point I'll read it. Posting if anyone else is interested.
If you don’t really know who they are, you have not being paying attention ov er the last five years at least. Hopefully they will rooted out the longer Benitez stays as manager. Not a coward in any way but content to sit and await the outcome.Who are in this secretive organisation known as THE CLIQUE??
NAME NAMES you coward!
my favourite record is dancing queen by ABBA .....You are what your record says you are
I'm not going all in on the Benitez love in yet but I will say that I am very pleased so far with the tactical approach and that we appear to be redeveloping an identity.Having read that marathon article I eventually decided to research this new manager of ours and not just go on my dodgy memory ..
You know after hearing from experts across the field, from before he joined us to after, it looks like we couldn’t have asked for a better manager. I gave him my blessing as soon as he was announced, and he had my full support after he was still standing on the touch line shouting at the players after 90 mins even with the game in the bag…
But having read and heard all about him as a coach, tactician and passionate football man.. we genuinely have the perfect man for the job..
A manager that lives and loves the whole city, that wants to build a real project and club from top to bottom.
Of our previous managers since Moyes only Martinez truly had embraced the whole of the club… I believe Benitez is of the same stock. If Mosh provides him with the job security that he has the time to do what he needs to do, we could see a 360 cultural and developmental shift across Everton.
It’s stupidly early but everything I see about Benitez screams perfect for Everton.
Pity we didn’t get him a season ago.
